Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Apex Q stores, why, and the control you have over it.

What we store

Your username and a secure one way hash of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
The stocks you save to your watchlist.
The holdings you choose to enter into the portfolio tracker, meaning the ticker, share count, and the cost you type in.
If you opt in to email alerts, the email address and the alert preference you provide.

How we use it

We use this information only to run your account and to show you your own data. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Market data providers

When you look up a stock, the request goes to third party market data providers to fetch prices and figures. Those lookups are about the ticker, not about you, and your identity is not handed to them as part of normal use.

Cookies and session

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It is not used to track you across other websites.

Your controls

You can export everything stored about you at any time, and you can delete your account and all of its data at any time. Deletion is permanent and removes your watchlist, your holdings, your verdict history, and any alert subscription.
